About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing, investor-backed Series C B2B payments company building modern infrastructure for how businesses move money. Their platform enables enterprises and mid-market companies to manage pay-ins, payouts, and reconciliation seamlessly through a unified API—covering use cases such as supplier payments, marketplace disbursements, and cross-border transactions.
The Role
They’re seeking a VP, FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making, shaping financial strategy, and supporting executive leadership through a period of rapid growth and scaling. You’ll partner cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across the business, while leading and developing a high-performing FP&A team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Partner with the CFO and executive team to support strategic decision-making and performance management
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support growth initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion
- Provide insights on revenue performance, unit economics, and key business drivers
- Build scalable reporting frameworks and KPIs to track performance across the organization
- Support board reporting, investor updates, and strategic planning cycles
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate investment opportunities and optimize resource allocation
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing FP&A team
What They’re Looking For
- 10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, ideally within fintech or payments
- Proven experience operating in a high-growth, VC-backed environment (Series C or beyond preferred)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities with a strategic mindset
- Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions
- Track record of building and scaling FP&A functions and teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Highly collaborative, with strong commercial acumen
