About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, investor-backed Series C B2B payments company building modern infrastructure for how businesses move money. Their platform enables enterprises and mid-market companies to manage pay-ins, payouts, and reconciliation seamlessly through a unified API—covering use cases such as supplier payments, marketplace disbursements, and cross-border transactions.

The Role

They’re seeking a VP, FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making, shaping financial strategy, and supporting executive leadership through a period of rapid growth and scaling. You’ll partner cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across the business, while leading and developing a high-performing FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Partner with the CFO and executive team to support strategic decision-making and performance management
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support growth initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion
• Provide insights on revenue performance, unit economics, and key business drivers
• Build scalable reporting frameworks and KPIs to track performance across the organization
• Support board reporting, investor updates, and strategic planning cycles
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and data infrastructure
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate investment opportunities and optimize resource allocation
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing FP&A team

What They’re Looking For

• 10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, ideally within fintech or payments
• Proven experience operating in a high-growth, VC-backed environment (Series C or beyond preferred)
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities with a strategic mindset
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions
• Track record of building and scaling FP&A functions and teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• Highly collaborative, with strong commercial acumen
