HR Manager

Location: North-Central Arizona

Compensation: $120,000-$140,000

A growing manufacturer in a highly regulated industry is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR functions.

Reporting directly to the President, this individual will manage a small HR team and oversee employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, performance management, workforce planning, and HR operations.

• Lead the HR function and supervise two HR team members.
• Advise executive leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational needs.
• Manage investigations, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Support compensation planning, training, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Develop and improve HR policies, processes, reporting, and workforce metrics.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive HR experience.
• Three or more years of HR leadership experience.
• Strong manufacturing HR experience.
• Experience with employee relations, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and advise senior leadership.
• Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week.

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, engineering, or regulated manufacturing.

Candidates must meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements and successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
