We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team within a large, continuous-process manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through implementation, partnering with operations, and driving meaningful improvements across a complex facility.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage electrical capital projects ranging from mid- to large-scale.
- Oversee upgrades to PLC/DCS systems, drives, power distribution, and control systems.
- Support production teams with electrical engineering expertise and troubleshooting.
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects using FEL (Front-End Loading) and stage-gate methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering groups.
- Contribute to reliability improvements and occasional maintenance projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial, mill, or similar environments (Co-op counts).
- Background in PLCs, controls, drives, instrumentation, or power systems preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work on-site daily and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available now or in the future).
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
