The ideal candidate has strong payroll experience, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to support both employees and leadership with payroll, benefits, and leave-related inquiries. Experience processing payroll and attendance in a construction environment is highly valued.
This position typically works Monday-Friday 6:30AM – 3:00PM

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring all hours, rates, premiums, and adjustments are correct.
- Prepare payroll for check issuance or electronic transfer to employee accounts.
- Collect, review, and enter payroll data including timecards, attendance records, PTO, holidays, and other leave.
- Maintain and update payroll deductions such as benefits, garnishments, and other mandatory or voluntary withholdings.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies by researching and resolving issues with employees, supervisors, HR, or accounting.
- Respond to employee questions related to pay, deductions, benefits, attendance, and leave balances with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Maintain and organize payroll records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Protect the confidentiality of all employee and payroll information.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in payroll processing, benefit administration, or related area.
- Experience with garnishments, payroll deductions, tax withholdings, and prevailing wage strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
