This role supports the execution of the omnichannel commercial plan in brick-and-mortar stores, offering insights and creative inspiration to the category teams (Fresh & Center Store) to ensure promotional goals align with commercial objectives (with outputs featured in the circular). The role collaborates closely with merchandising and marketing teams to support the planning process.

What we ask of you:

• Partnering with the Fresh & Center Store teams to ensure the promotional plan effectively delivers on commercial goals.
• Collaborating across departments to create the best promotional offerings for customers (including FrontPage and Overlay).
• Supporting Merchandising with the circular proofing process, refining and applying learnings for continuous improvement.
• Assisting in the creation of period projections.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of category business plans with a focus on promotion strategy.
• Conducting regular field visits with leadership and vendor partners to better understand and address customer needs and identify growth opportunities.
  
  

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Preferred:
• Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA)
• 8 years of experience in retail merchandising, marketing, or a similar omnichannel environment.
• Proven experience in promotional planning and executing commercial plans within a retail setting.
• Familiarity with circular proofing and marketing communications processes.
• Strong understanding of both Fresh & Center Store retail operations and category-specific promotional strategies.
• Experience working cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and field teams.
• Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and apply them to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of promotional plans.
• Ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative approaches for category and promotional campaigns.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal teams (merchandising, marketing, field leadership) and external partners (vendors).
• High level of attention to detail, particularly when proofing promotional materials and supporting the execution of complex promotional plans.
• The ability to pivot quickly based on new insights, market changes, or feedback to improve ongoing campaigns.
• Ability to travel occasionally for field visits

The salary range for this position is $106,480-$159,720 and will commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity.
