Overview
We are an Internationally Award winning winery and distillery located in the Lehigh Valley AVA. Our tasting room and event center is currently seeking qualified and experienced hospitality professionals to join our team. This is a year round part time position that pays an hourly rate plus tips. The schedule includes some weekends, weekdays and some holidays. (we are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day). No late nights as we operate most days Noon to 7pm.
As a Winery Tasting Room Associate, your enthusiasm for wine and exceptional customer service will create memorable experiences for visitors. In this role, you’ll guide guests through tastings, share the story behind our wines and historic farm & vineyards, and ensure every visitor feels welcomed and valued. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the wine industry while honing your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality is a plus. Banquet experience and bar tending experience also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide engaging wine tastings, sharing detailed descriptions of each wine and vineyard story.
- Assist visitors with selecting wines to purchase, offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, including bar areas and tasting stations.
- Handle food and beverage service in accordance with food safety standards, including light food preparation if needed.
- Support event setups such as tastings, private tours, or special wine releases, ensuring smooth execution.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently for wine sales and merchandise.
- Uphold all food handling and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Skills
- Prior experience as a FOH server or bar tender in fine dining or food industry settings such as restaurants, catering, or banquet service is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest experiences.
- Serving experience in hospitality environments, including knowledge of proper serving techniques and etiquette.
- Ability to perform food handling tasks safely while adhering to food safety regulations.
- Experience with barista work or beverage preparation can be an asset in creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills to educate guests about wines and answer their questions confidently.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
