Position Summary:
Our client, a high-growth, multi-site organization, is seeking a Director of Employee Experience to architect how their people are welcomed, engaged, and retained. Reporting to the VP of Administration, this leader will manage a team of four, growing to six over the next 24 months, supporting two regions with limited travel.
This role owns the full employee journey across onboarding, engagement, recognition, culture, and retention, spanning headquarters in Metairie, LA and regional offices. While the title is Director, expectations run high. Our client hires people who lead like executives and treat culture as a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
· Own the employee experience roadmap end to end, including onboarding, engagement, recognition, belonging, and retention
· Lead a team of four EX professionals, scaling to six, across HQ and regional offices supporting two regions
· Design a best in class onboarding and immersion model that lands consistently across every location
· Advise executive leadership on culture, engagement trends, and workforce sentiment as a trusted strategic partner
· Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to align EX with the broader talent strategy
· Use engagement data, eNPS, and lifecycle analytics to drive continuous improvement and action plans
· Scale EX programs into new regional operations as the company grows without diluting the culture
· Coach and develop the EX team into a high performing, service minded function with real bench strength
Qualifications:
· 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Employee Experience, Engagement, HR, Organizational Development, or People Operations (required)
· A people centric leadership style with a clear vision for immersing employees into a culture of opportunity and learning (required)
· Proven success designing engagement and onboarding programs that moved retention, eNPS, and culture metrics (required)
· Experience leading geographically distributed teams and scaling programs across multiple sites or regions (required)
· Strategic presence with executives paired with the instinct to coach and develop an internal team (required)
· Data fluency with the ability to translate engagement and lifecycle insights into action (required)
· Partnership experience with L&D functions such as corporate academies (preferred)
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
