Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all operations of the Service Department.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Develop and mentor service team members to meet performance goals.
  • Monitor department profitability and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with Parts and Sales Departments to optimize workflow and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in motorcycle, automotive, or powersports service management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, service processes, and manufacturer systems.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation and accountability.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in dealership management software (Talon preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and warranty policies.
  • Valid driver’s license and motorcycle endorsement required.

ADA Essential Duties

· Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dealership and service area for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.

· Ability to push, pull, and maneuver motorcycles safely (with assistance).

· Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically.

· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
