Job Summary And Qualification

Job Summary And Qualification
- Answers calls in a professional and timely fashion and maintains safety and efficiency at the front desk.
- Able to speak clearly; good telephone mannerisms; is friendly and empathetic in order to project a positive image of the unit and encourage open communication.
- Works in coordination with the medical records department to complete timely account changes and assists in planning monthly copying and filing of documents.
- Actively participates in quality management activities by timely reporting of staff, family, visitor or quality concerns.
- Uses the Meditech order entry system for all functions utilized in StoneSprings Hospital including, but not limited to, entering admission data, transfers, discharges, orders for diagnostic testing, accessing results of diagnostic testing and sending messages to other departments.
- Ensure charts are completed and accurate
- Ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments
- Organizes patient information in a safe and secure area.
- May perform other duties as assigned
