Breakfast Cook – Stonehurst Manor

Stonehurst Manor in North Conway, NH is seeking a dependable and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality breakfast service in a fast-paced hotel and restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items to order, including eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast meats, potatoes, and other menu items.
• Operate a flat-top grill, sauté station, fryer, and commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle breakfast line cooking and multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and ticket times.
• Complete daily prep work, including portioning, cutting, stocking, and setting up the breakfast line.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines to ensure food quality and consistency.
• Maintain proper food temperatures, storage, labeling, rotation, and FIFO procedures.
• Accommodate common food allergies and dietary restrictions while preventing cross-contamination.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety, ServSafe, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, stocking, and minimizing food waste.
• Work cooperatively with servers, dishwashers, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth breakfast service.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Cook, Line Cook, Short Order Cook, Prep Cook, or Restaurant Cook preferred.
• Strong experience cooking eggs and omelets to order is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a breakfast station during busy service.
• Strong knife skills, food preparation, and line cooking skills.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to consistently work scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical kitchen supplies and equipment.
• ServSafe certification is preferred but not required.

Schedule

This is an early-morning position and requires availability for breakfast shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
