What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Director position at Stonegate Fellowship?
Position Purpose:
To ensure from street to seat every person whether first time guest or long time attenders are greeted with passion and connection points. Create excellence among teams through exemplary leadership that bleeds over to every person who walks through our doors allowing a guest to feel “at home” and facilitate their next steps within our faith family, and the community.
Role Basics | Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Have the ability to inspire people and keep a group motivated
- Enthusiastic about teaching others how to serve and enjoy building, leading, and working with a team
- Find, equip, and develop non-staff leads for each of the Guest Services Teams: parking, worship services, coffee bar, cafe’, ushers, and Start Here area
- Develop new Guest Services teams as needed
- Initiate and facilitate a culture of recruiting conversations
- Consistently drip a compelling and clear vision of Guest Services through servant leader gatherings whereby monthly care, training, and encouragement can be fostered
- Work alongside communications for upcoming events, sermon series etc. to inform teams so information is conveyed clearly to guests and members
- Work with supervisor to create and maintain budget
- Work with facilities for room scheduling and events
- Collaborate with Care Team for funerals/weddings and Prayer Team for prayer events
- Dream strategy and growth of Start Here area
- Inventory for coffee bar-supplies, maintenance, workers, cleaning, vibe
- Collaborate with communications for internal signage for new building
Minimum Work and Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years in a hospitality related role within a large company or church

Time Requirement: - This is a full time, non-exempt role with 40 hours per week. Seasonal ministry seasons may be flexible.
