Position Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to ensure everyone from first-time guests to long time members have a seamless and positive experience by creating a welcoming oasis.
Role Basics | Responsibilities and Expectations:
Recruit, onboard, and schedule servant leaders
Stock cafe, green rooms, and maintain supplies for cafe, auditorium, parking lot, and greeters
Provide real-time encouragement and assistance to servant leaders on Sundays
Assist during pre-service huddles
Cover last-minute volunteer needs and substitutions
Model hospitality and approachability on Sundays
Act as a “roamer” fixing small disruptions before guests notice
Help maintain volunteer rosters and contact information
Prepare resources for special Sundays and holiday services
Minimum Work and Education:
High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years experience in a hospitality role
Skills:
A heart for others to feel seen and valued
Keen eye for excellence in first impressions
Attention to detail is crucial
A customer service heart with a positive attitude
Solid communication skills
