Barista/Cashier/Assistant manager – Full Time

Stone Street Cafe, Southold

Stone Street Cafe is looking for a full-time barista, cashier and/or assistant manager to join our Southold team. No prior barista experience is required — what matters most is attitude, reliability, and a real interest in hospitality.

About the role

As a barista at Stone Street Cafe, you are the face of the business. You’ll be responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and consistent service. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in doing things well.

What you’ll do

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks to Stone Street standards (training provided)

• Provide warm, efficient, and professional customer service

• Handle rushes with focus and energy

• Take orders accurately and manage payments

• Keep the barista station clean, organized, and stocked

• Work closely with the kitchen and team to keep service smooth

• Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
