We are seeking a skilled year-round Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
**Duties:**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes, along with responsibility to learn signature cocktails.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment
- Assist customers in selecting beverages and pastries
- Handle cash and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of products
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Availability for multiple days/times including between 7am-10pm
-Must be self-disciplined to complete work without direction
**Qualifications:**
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Familiarity with (preferably Toast)POS systems and cash registers
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction well
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different coffee blends
