What Our Customer Service Representatives Do
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Manage multiple phone lines while delivering outstanding customer service
- Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor appointment calendar
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Process invoices, collect payments, and review estimates with clients
- Communicate hospital policies, services, and pricing clearly and professionally
- Coordinate with doctors and technicians to maintain efficient patient flow
- Manage medical record requests, reminders, and administrative tasks
- Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism while escalating concerns appropriately
- Educate clients on preventive care recommendations and next steps
- Support teammates with daily tasks to help the hospital run smoothly
What You'll Bring
- Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience coordinating appointments and managing schedules
- Confidence handling difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Experience with veterinary practice management software; ezyVet experience is a plus
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and common appointment types preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
