What You'll Do
- Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine Hyatt hospitality.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while creating a memorable first impression.
- Answer phones, respond to guest requests, and assist with reservations and general inquiries.
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages from our lobby bar while providing outstanding guest service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and bar area.
- Process guest payments, cash, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and information about hotel amenities.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure every guest has an exceptional stay.
- Resolve guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Follow Hyatt brand standards and all safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Be a team player by helping wherever needed to create an outstanding guest experience.
What We're Looking For
- A naturally friendly, outgoing personality that enjoys interacting with people.
- A positive attitude and the ability to remain upbeat during busy shifts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Previous hotel, restaurant, bartending, or customer service experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person with the right attitude.
- Must be comfortable learning hotel computer systems and handling guest transactions.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
- Must meet Indiana requirements to serve alcoholic beverages.
