Personal Lines Account Manager
An independent insurance broker is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to service and manage a book of personal insurance accounts. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day client support, answering policy and coverage questions, processing changes, and assisting clients with coverage reviews and renewals. The Personal Lines Account Manager works closely with the assigned Producer to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal lines accounts from onboarding through renewal
- Provide a consultative, service-oriented approach to client interactions
- Service policies including Home, Auto, Umbrella, and related personal lines products
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, endorsements, billing, and policy changes
- Prepare and market new business and renewal quotes to ensure appropriate coverage and competitive pricing
- Work with multiple carrier underwriters and online rating platforms
- Identify, collect, and manage information needed for upcoming renewals
- Maintain accurate documentation and account records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience servicing personal lines accounts
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Insurance designations (CIC, CPCU, or similar) preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products and brokerage operations
- Ability to explain coverage clearly and provide practical guidance to clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
