About the Role - We are looking for motivated Property Risk Engineers with 2-5 years of experience in property risk management. In this role, you will conduct field inspections and surveys for highly protected risk (HPR) properties, assessing fire protection systems, loss expectancy, and other risk factors. Our technology simplifies report writing, allowing you to focus more on analysis and risk reduction strategies.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site property risk inspections and surveys for commercial clients.
- Evaluate and report on fire protection systems, loss expectancy, and general property conditions.
- Use our proprietary technology to efficiently gather data and complete risk surveys.
- Collaborate directly with clients to help them understand risks and manage their insurance premiums effectively.
- Provide expert recommendations for improving property risk profiles and risk mitigation strategies.
- Work independently, managing your own schedule, while contributing to a remote team environment.
- Stay current with industry trends and standards in risk management and property engineering.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in property risk management, specifically in highly protected risk (HPR) surveys or similar roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Experience in fire protection systems and risk mitigation strategies is highly preferred.
- Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable recommendations for risk reduction.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Willingness to travel for on-site inspections, as needed.
Pay range and compensation package - Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 per year for candidates with 2-5 years of experience. Highly experienced candidates can earn up to $180,000.
