The Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing a diverse commercial book of business, supporting producers, and delivering a high level of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a commercial book of business with a high percentage of construction accounts
- Handle certificates, endorsements, renewals, audits, billing issues, and policy rewrites
- Review contracts and ensure insurance compliance
- Assist producers with marketing, quoting, and binding coverage
- Advise clients on policy details, identify coverage gaps, and cross-sell where appropriate
- Maintain agency management system (Applied TAM/Epic)
- Support the claims process and act as a liaison with carriers
- Build strong relationships with underwriters and carrier partners
- Participate in client meetings and provide expert support
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in commercial lines account management
- Deep experience with construction accounts
- Proficiency with certificates of insurance
- Strong knowledge of complex contracts and billing issues
- Experience with TAM or Applied Epic
- Active P&C license in PA and NJ
- Comfortable making decisions independently and supporting the team
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- CRIS designation or willingness to pursue construction-related continuing education
- Bonds experience (especially construction-related)
- Experience with complex, non-admitted markets
