What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deli Sweets Baker position at Stone Ground Bakery and Wheat Montana?
What You’ll Do:
- Bake delicious sweet goods including cinnamon rolls, cookies, cupcakes, and pastries.
- Follow recipes and baking instructions with precision to ensure consistent quality.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail and food safety.
- Retrieve and handle ingredients from various storage areas (coolers, freezers, dry storage).
- Maintain a clean and organized baking area.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for baking and creating high-quality sweet products.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, measure ingredients, and operate scales.
- Comfortable working in warm bakery conditions and standing for long periods.
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs individually (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
- Willingness to work evening shifts and occasional overtime.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 to work evening shifts and in hot environments.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous baking experience or culinary training is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right person!
