About the Role
Stone Fortress is looking for an experienced Excavator. You'll run excavation equipment at residential and commercial properties. You must be able to operate in tight spaces. If you're reliable and safety-focused, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Operate excavators to perform digging, grading, trenching, and site excavation work
- Safely load and unload heavy equipment onto/off trailers
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors and crew to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain accurate logs for driving hours and equipment usage as required
Qualifications
- 5 years proven experience operating excavators
- Experience hauling/loading heavy equipment (lowboy/trailer experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation & Benefits
- $27.00 – $32.00 per hour based on experience
- Full-time, consistent hours
- Year-round work on active job sites
