Role Description: This fully remote role operates on a 100% commission structure, featuring a 50/50 gross profit split between the sales professional and the company. The Salesperson will build and maintain client relationships, conduct prospecting activities, and follow up on leads to grow the customer base. Daily responsibilities include understanding client marketing objectives, presenting SDW's solutions (such as branded merchandise, apparel, awards, and online store programs), preparing quotes, and managing the sales cycle from initial contact through closing. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams on project details, monitoring order status, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery. The Salesperson will track sales activities in a CRM system, meet assigned sales targets, and represent SDW at client meetings, events, and local networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated skills in consultative selling, customer relationship management, and account growth.
- Experience with marketing or promotional products, including branded merchandise, apparel, recognition programs and custom packaging solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple clients, proposals, and deadlines.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, basic office software, and online platforms for sales and reporting.
- Previous experience in B2B sales or a client-facing role, in marketing, advertising, or promotional products.
- Minimum of two years experience in the promotional products industry in either a sales role or an experienced admin who is ready to take on a commission-based sales role in our fun, fast‑moving industry; associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
