Stone Creek Outdoor Living is a growing, design-forward outdoor living company specializing in high-quality landscapes, hardscapes, and custom outdoor environments. We are expanding our services to include advanced masonry, water features, and full outdoor living installations—and we’re looking for a skilled craftsman to help lead that charge.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Master Mason / Hardscape Specialist with a strong background in masonry, paver installation, natural stone work, and water feature construction. This individual will play a key role in building and executing high-end outdoor projects, while also contributing to design ideas and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and construct:
- Paver patios, walkways, and driveways
- Retaining walls (block and natural stone)
- Outdoor living features (fire pits, fireplaces, seating walls)
- Water features (ponds, waterfalls, fountains—Aquascape experience is a plus)
- Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and elevations
- Assist in project design, layout, and material selection
- Ensure proper grading, drainage, and foundational preparation
- Operate equipment as needed (skid steer, saws, compactors, etc.)
- Maintain high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Lead or assist crews on job sites and help train less experienced team members
- Communicate with management and occasionally with clients on-site
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on masonry and/or hardscape experience (required)
- Proven experience working with:
- Pavers and concrete systems
- Natural stone (various sizes and applications)
- Block retaining wall systems
- Experience with water features strongly preferred
- Ability to read plans and execute layouts accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and pride in craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 50 lbs
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with Aquascape systems
- Leadership or crew foreman experience
- Basic design or layout experience
- Equipment operation experience

Additional Information
This position is a new position within our company, we are open to a 1099 option or W2 since the type of work us typically seasonal. Additionally, there is potential housing availability.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
