Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial offices, industrial facilities, and residential properties using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Handle various chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols and handling procedures to ensure a secure environment
- Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in pristine condition
- Conduct sanitation tasks including trash removal, surface disinfecting, and restroom cleaning to promote health standards
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-up painting to support facility upkeep
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during manual handling and heavy lifting activities to prevent injuries
- Maintain detailed cleaning logs and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and adhere to chemical handling safety procedures
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and facility maintenance practices
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely and following safe lifting practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or team members
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during scheduled daytime hours
