Duties
- Restock dining area with clean utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary supplies to ensure seamless service.
- Perform thorough cleaning of tables, chairs, floors, and service stations in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, glassware, and trash promptly to maintain a tidy environment.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for meal service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely when required, adhering to kitchen health and safety standards.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items such as bulk supplies or cleaning equipment.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards through regular cleaning routines and adherence to food safety management protocols.
- Support catering or banquet setups by organizing tables and ensuring cleanliness before events commence.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in roles involving cleaning or stock management.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and kitchen health standards is essential.
- Experience with dishwashing, operating basic kitchen equipment, and knife skills is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems and proper sanitizing procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock replenishment or cleaning tasks.
