The Deposit Operations Specialist II position is responsible for a wide variety of duties in the Operations Department. These tasks range from various daily tasks as well as tasks that focus on regulatory, monetary, and potential reputational risk impact. Functions are time sensitive and must be adhered to by means of policy and procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of Deposit Operations or banking experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills both on phone and via email.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic math skills and reading comprehension skills; 10-key by touch.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Full-time; 40 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for setup of new Business Online Banking users and TM services Responsible for ACH Processing
- - ACH Origination and Incoming ACH
- Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and assist customers with online banking and TM services.
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and monitoring of TM client activity.
- Responsible for processing outgoing and incoming wire transfers
- Responsible for verifying signatures and approvals on all wires follow Bank policy
- Responsible wires as initiator/approver, reports, end of day/beginning of day
- Process chargebacks, ACH items, IRA and CD interest checks
- Responsible for monitoring and addressing all stop payment and/or positive pay items daily
- Maintenance of policies and procedures for all processes noted above
- Provide support to retail and lending staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
