Guest House and Campus Housekeeper

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of spaces across the Stoller Wine Group Campuses including vacation home rentals, offices, tasting rooms, break rooms, and other areas; by performing the following duties. This position will be expected to have the ability to work weekends.

Essential Job Duties

• Receives training and signs the company’s contract.
• Understands the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues.
• Provides basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out.
• Reports and returns any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
• Reports cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor
• Works with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Cleans, disinfects, and stores all equipment at the end of the shift
• Maintains a positive relationship with employees and guests
• Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass
• Collects and removes trash and debris
• Assists with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linen
• Reports, turns in, and logs all lost and found items
• Cleans upholstered furniture
• Performs detailed deep cleans when required
• Supports the cleaning of guest homes in between guest stays to ensure homes are ready by check-in.
• Restocks cleaning supplies, paper goods, amenity items, linens, etc.
• Works in conjunction with Housekeeping Lead, other housekeepers, facilities team, and Guest House Manager, to ensure guest home operation is run professionally, efficiently, and to high brand standards.
• Cleans guest homes in a timely manner, in accordance with protocol between guest stays. Includes thorough cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens, appliances, laundering towels and bedlinens, changing bed linens, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restocking supplies and amenities, and placing welcome packs and complimentary wine in homes.
• Inspects home features, including TV/satellite, remotes, lights and lamps, appliances, drawers, under beds and furniture, etc. to ensure they all function properly or are in order.
• Communicates any breakages, needed repairs, and facilities concerns promptly to facilities team and manager.
• Performs quality check of all rooms and spaces across campuses.
• Assists occasionally with minor guest requests and troubleshooting.
• Maintains a spirit of hospitality and professionalism during any guest interactions.
• Cleans offices, tastings, rooms, and other shared spaces throughout Stoller Campuses. Includes cleaning of bathrooms, break rooms, offices, and kitchens. Wiping furniture, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage, restocking supplies, and other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
