Job Opportunity: Maintenance Planner
Location: Foundry near Tulsa, Oklahoma
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our foundry facility. This role ensures efficient scheduling of repairs, preventive maintenance, and optimal allocation of resources to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans for timely execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring effective use of materials and workforce.
- Organize routine preventive maintenance carried out by external service providers, including water treatment, infrared surveying, switchgear testing, crane inspections, oil analysis, and generator servicing.
- Coordinate non-routine repair services such as HVAC, overhead doors, boilers, plumbing, and locksmith needs.
- Maintain meticulous records related to maintenance activities.
- Optimize manpower allocation, scheduling contractors as needed for facility upkeep.
- Process material and purchase requisitions, ensuring timely procurement.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to review work orders, adjust priorities, and streamline operations.
- Establish and maintain historical records of maintenance activities, schedules, work orders, and bill of materials.
- Compare planned vs. actual completion times and refine time estimates accordingly.
- Analyze maintenance data to pinpoint inefficiencies and problem areas.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance protocols for long-term equipment reliability.
- Uphold quality, productivity, and safety standards while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Make operational decisions aligned with company vision, emphasizing safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Promote workplace safety, ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate actively in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
- Lead by example in fostering a culture of safe practices and accountability.
- This role requires reliability during adverse weather conditions, holidays, facility shutdowns, and emergency scenarios.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field (or Equivalent industrial maintenance experience, required).
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance planning (required).
- Foundry experience (preferred).
- Must provide a negative tuberculosis test result.
