Job Description
We are seeking a E&C/EPC Contract Administrator to support our client 'onsite' in downtown Houston. This is a 6 month contract assignment. Hours: Mon-Thurs (8.75 hrs); Friday (1/2 days). Maximum downtown parking reimbursement: $150/month
This assignment will be heavy on contract "administrative" duties related to large "Engineering and Construction (E&C)" projects Note : This is not a supply chain, buying, strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or commercial contracts role.
Must Haves:
- Prior experience is Engineering & Construction ( E&C), Engineering, Procurement and Construction ( EPC) or Pipeline Construction is required.
- 100-400 page contract package experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a contract administrator or similar role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Word and Excel and Adobe.
- Contractual/project administration experience, including:
- Collaborating with project and business managers to align responsibilities and ensure compliance with company requirements.
- R eviewing and providing feedback on contractors’ contracting and subcontracting plans, procedures, processes, and deliverables.
- Managing the expediting, filing, and tracking of contractor documents, including insurance certificates (COI), Parent Company Guarantees, and Letters of Credit, following agreed processes.
- Maintaining and updating project file systems, procedures, and Master Document Registers.
- Coordinating contractual correspondence, including notices, per the project document distribution matrix.
- Assisting in change control processes, including amendments, change notices, change orders, and other contract modifications, integrating with Management of Change (MOC) processes, change order logs, and deviation logs.
- Capturing and communicate contract administration and subcontracting lessons learned for project optimization.
- Developing and execute Contract Close-Out Plans as part of Project Close-Out, assist in establishing agreements with contractors.
