Stockbridge Housing Authority Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks to assist the Executive Director in maintaining effective management of the Housing Authority. The job requires written, computer and effective communication skills, along with the ability to work alongside and advocate for all people. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The maintenance of electronic files and data relating to all activities and programs of the SHA. Posting of the tenant rent charges, collection of rents, A/R and A/P duties as assigned and participation in the annual recertification process for both the State 667 Program and the HCV (S8) Program. Strong bookkeeping skills required. The candidate will also serve as the receptionist for SHA tenants, applicants, visitors and the public along with varied administrative duties as assigned by the Director. Those who have familiarity with housing programs, the CHAMP application process or property management skills are encouraged to apply. Prior housing experience is a plus, but not necessary. Training will be provided. Benefited 20 hour per week position. Rate of pay $23 - $23.95 to start. Health, dental and Berkshire retirement. No phone calls please.
