- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with patient registration and intake process
- Collect and record patient vital signs, assist Physician in hands on care
- Provide medical administrative support for clinic
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical administrative training or certification preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required
- Knowledge of medical industry
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other medical software applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and communicating
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
