The Impact You’ll Make
- System Architecture: Program, build, and validate sophisticated systems involving pneumatics, servos, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and HMI touchscreens.
- Global Commissioning: Lead the setup and startup of machines both in-house (at our US and Austria facilities) and at customer sites worldwide.
- Process Excellence: Go beyond "just making it work." You will continually optimize processes and machines to ensure peak efficiency and reliability.
- Technical Documentation: Create clear specifications and documentation that serve as the blueprint for our success.
- Customer Partnership: Provide expert after-sales support and conduct high-level training to ensure our clients are empowered to succeed.
- Technical Foundation: A BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related ABET-accredited field.
- Automation Experience: Ideally 2–4 years of hands-on experience using PLCs and HMI/OIT for process control.
- The "Traveler" Mindset: You are excited about the prospect of international travel. This role includes extensive training at our STIWA Group headquarters in Austria and project work across the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil.
- Team & Leadership Qualities: You bring excellent communication skills, a natural inclination to take responsibility, and the ability to work seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams. Ideally, you possess early leadership experience or demonstrate a clear desire to grow into a leadership role as our team and responsibilities expand.

- Work Environment: Based on site in Rock Hill, SC, Monday – Friday (travel availability required during commissioning).
