Maintenance Technician

General Summary and Purpose:

The Maintenance Technician is a core team member of the Production Department. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production and plant facilities equipment.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on plant facility and production equipment to increase equipment reliability and up-time.
• Perform emergency diagnostics and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner
• Lead or assist in development and installation of new equipment, utilities, and processes used in manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and instructions.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Good communication skills, maintain cooperative relationship with team members.
• Must be able to walk, sit and/or stand throughout an eight-hour (or longer) day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper
  
  

lifting technique.

• Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate tools and parts.
• Must adhere to company Safe Driving Policy
  
  

Job Specifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years electrical maintenance experience.
