Experienced Spray Technician

Job Description

We are now accepting applications for EXPERIENCED fertilization and vegetation spraying personnel with year around work in the off season. We offer you an opportunity to join a group that embraces innovation, continuous improvement while safely producing quality workmanship.

Responsibilities/Duties/Essential Duties:

• Providing lawn fertilization and weed control services; completing an assigned route each day
• Operates spray apparatus, including electric pump, gas powered pumps, and hand pumps
• Knowledge, ability, and willingness to handle herbicides in the course of vegetation management while taking account all safety precautions and PPE.
• Ability to mix, handle, and apply herbicides in accordance with label directions and crew supervisor instructions
• Ability to handle and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order for daily operations.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and pesticide records
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate equipment (truck and sprayer)
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts during summer months

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a min. of 2 years of licensed driving experience.
• Current/Valid Drivers License
• No alcohol related conviction within 5-years.
• 2-3 years of experience IS REQURED!
