Job Summary
Market leading, International High Tech Business require a dynamic and self motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to undertake a challenging remote position to drive business to business sales across the Eastern USA.
About the role
Reporting to the US Sales Director the Business Development Manager will identify and prospect high value clients within the Retail, Hospitality and Travel Sectors and utilise expertise in sales and relationship management to deliver cutting edge IT Technology and close high-value business deals. Key duties include:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through targeted outreach, market research, and client networking.
- Manage and deliver sector-specific conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and other promotional events
- Utilise first class sales skills to explain key technical product benefits via conference calls, meetings and online support
- Developing and implementing a strategic plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence in the US market
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships through lasting partnerships and excellent negotiations
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new product innovation and competition
- Preparing detailed reports with sales forecasts, market trends, and competition analysis
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
About you
- You will be located in the Eastern USA and able to undertake a role with regular travel throughout the area.
- Graduate calibre you will have 3 years proven experience meeting or exceeding targets within B2B Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
- Applicants will possess a deep understanding of the US market, have excellent presentation skills and the ability to close high-value deals within a complex, technological environment.
- The jobholder will be self motivated and tenacious with the ability to drive business without supervision.
- Experience with current CRM systems and sales reporting tools is advantageous
