Stinger’s Chino, CA location is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate well versed in production planning, safety and operational efficiency. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and is a key member of the warehouse and production staff. This is a hands-on role that oversees the shipping and receiving department of the warehouse while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist all shipping and receiving activities for the warehouse.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse through effective planning and positive implementation of new layouts; inspect all existing equipment and issue requests for any needed replacements.
- Manages inventory cycle counts.
- Place purchase orders for necessary components to execute production plan.
- Maintain production plan dates to represent accurate best delivery, driving visibility to sales on availability.
- Review internal steps and cross train production team members to support this role and create a more self-sufficient team

- Maintain accuracy of BOM revisions on assembly items in NetSuite.
- Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, employee timecard submission, employee relations issues, new hire orientation and manage temporary staffing agency relations.
- Promote and uphold workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, proper use of equipment, and safe handling of materials.
- Coordinate OSHA training and develop safety program.
- Ensure consistent operation of the warehouse so products are located and distributed to internal and external consumers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Step in to support warehouse operations leadership in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to strategically plan, schedule, and coordinate daily, all departments of the warehouse (Production, Receiving, and Shipping).
Requirements:
- Must be highly self-motivated and capable of effectively motivating others.
- Must have production planning and scheduling experience and skills
- Experience operating a Warehouse Management System to pick and pack orders.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and distribution required.
- Superior organizational, mechanical, and critical-thinking abilities are required.
- Must be familiar with OSHA regulations.
- Must have sufficient computer skills required to manage and operate all relevant systems.
- This position must be accurate and meticulous regarding product details.
- Detail-oriented project management skills.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Results driven professional that has the ability to hold project teams accountable for both quality and timelines.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and complete a DMV background check.
Require Education and Experience:
- 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
- 3-5 years of production planning experience.
- 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Experience with inventory flow, production coordination, and warehouse systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and safety standards.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position assists in managing the Chino, CA warehouse staff including temporary employees.
Environmental/Physical Requirements:
- May sit or stand for long periods of time
- Crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, and lifting on a daily basis
- Operating computer, telephone, voicemail and other office equipment regularly
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
