Assistant Warehouse Manager

Stinger’s Alpharetta, GA location is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and motivated professional to support daily warehouse operations and drive efficiency. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory processes while helping to maintain a safe, organized, and high-performing warehouse environment at the company’s Georgia location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and executing all shipping and receiving activities for the warehouse
• Support the maintenance of the warehouse layout, equipment, and overall organization; report and request replacements as needed
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels
• Help ensure proper equipment and racking are in place to promote employee and product safety
• Support consistent warehouse operations to ensure products are stored and distributed safely and efficiently
• Perform administrative duties as needed, including timecard support, employee relations assistance, onboarding coordination, and temporary staffing agency communication
• Promote and uphold workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, proper use of equipment, and safe handling of materials
• Assist in logistics for outbound and inbound LTL shipment
• Step in to support warehouse operations leadership in the absence of the Warehouse Manager

Requirements:

• Must be highly self-motivated and capable of effectively motivating others.
• Experience operating a Warehouse Management System
• Experience shipping Amazon FBA
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and distribution required
• Superior organizational, mechanical, and critical-thinking abilities are required
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulation
• Previous assembly production management
• Must have sufficient computer skills required to manage and operate all relevant system
• This position must be accurate and meticulous regarding product detail
• Must have a valid driver’s license and complete a DMV background check

Require Education and Experience:

• 3 years of warehouse or distribution experience
• 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Experience with inventory flow, production coordination, and warehouse systems
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of OSHA and safety standards
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain.)

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position assists in managing the Alpharetta, GA warehouse staff including temporary employees.

Environmental/Physical Requirements:

• May sit or stand for long periods of time
• Crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, and lifting on a daily basis
• Operating computer, telephone, voicemail and other office equipment regularly
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Forklift and order picker certification required
