Coil Technician – Pittsburgh, PA

Stimple & Ward is currently seeking a full-time Coil Technician. The position is in Pittsburgh, PA
Production Worker Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Convert copper magnet wire and insulating materials into finished electrical coils.
- Set up and operate assigned production equipment.
- Perform operations such as cutting, bending, winding, shaping, pressing, scraping, tinning, taping, insulating, assembling, painting, dipping, measuring, testing, and inspecting products.
- Verify product dimensions and quality using measuring and testing equipment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned.
- Continuously develop knowledge and proficiency in multiple manufacturing operations to support production needs and career advancement.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately use measuring tools and perform quality inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to set up and operate assigned production equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes.
- Capable of lifting materials as required throughout the production process.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
