What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stiltz Project Manager position at Stiltz Homelifts?
Stiltz is the largest home elevator/ home-lift company in the world, and rapidly growing. I am a Stiltz pro dealer in Southern California. My territory is Orange County and Inland Empire. We currently install 3 elevators a month. We have a booked schedule until May. Our volume increases 50% every year and we need help to continue our growth. I am looking to hire someone who is capable of the construction, and installation of Stiltz products. Our construction manager would work on the more challenging jobs. The person we are looking to hire would work on the easier jobs, installations that go through the floor. We are looking for an individual who can properly setup the workspace with wall and floor protection. Cut drywall, and set up shoring posts. We would prefer you to be capable of rerouting venting, plumbing, gas, high and low voltage electrical. Framing experience is a must. Ability to rehang drywall, tape, mud. We have a great painter, but Experience in matching texture and paint would also be a useful skillset. We would prefer an individual with electrical experience, capable of running 220. This is what the majority of the work would be, typically takes 4-5 days. We would also prefer an individual would would be willing to help with elevator installation. We would provide training on this. once construction is done, the actual elevator installation takes 2 days. About 6 months after being hired we would require this person to get certified by Stiltz. This would include a paid trip to Pennsylvania for 3 nights, which is required in order to install Stiltz products without being supervised. Pay is dependent upon experience ability and availability.
