The successful candidate will have experience working with geriatrics and long-term care, as well as a passion for providing compassionate and attentive care.
Day Shift State Tested Nursing Assistant: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
Night Shift State Tested Nursing Assistant: 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm $5.00 shift differential to base pay
The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) provides essential hands-on care and assistance with daily living activities to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, feeding, and emotional support. State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) play a key role in maintaining resident dignity, safety, and comfort in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
State Tested Nursing Assistant Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support mobility by helping residents transfer, reposition, and use assistive devices.
Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration)
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist with meals and monitor nutritional intake.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
Accurately document care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
