Position Summary
This position is responsible for planning and preparing nutritional meals and will work closely with all Daycare personnel for care and instructions of infants and children enrolled in the Stillaguamish Daycare Program.

This position is responsible for planning and preparing nutritional meals and will work closely with all Daycare personnel for care and instructions of infants and children enrolled in the Stillaguamish Daycare Program.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan nutritional menu
- Grocery shop for meals.
- Cook two meals per day and provide nutritional snacks for Daycare Children
- Work with young children in a daycare setting.
- Monitor the Daycare Children when needed.
- Keep routine records for meal plans.
- Keep record of all food allergies for Daycare Children.
- Be familiar with the Stillaguamish Indian Community, Tribal Customs, and Culture.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Organizational skills associated with a daycare setting.
- Knowledge of basic duties associated with being a childcare provider.
- Ability to become familiar with the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians Community and tribal culture and customs.
- Ability to determine methods of modifying inappropriate behavior and encourage learn through play experiences.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- One year of daycare experience.
- HIV, First Aid, and CPR Certified or ability to become certified within 6 months.
- Must have the ability to be TB tested.
- Must meet coverage criteria according to the Tribe’s vehicle liability insurance.
- Must be able to pass thorough pre-employment fingerprint background check as well as periodic background testing.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must possess a valid Washington driver’s license.
