Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our resort. This role is responsible for identifying, preventing, and treating pest-related issues throughout the property, including guest accommodations, dining areas, maintenance facilities, and outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect buildings and grounds for signs of pest activity
- Apply pest control treatments in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and results
- Respond promptly to pest-related service requests from staff or guests
- Collaborate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to prevent infestations
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pest control chemicals and equipment
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and local/state regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous pest control experience preferred, but training may be provided
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to obtain or maintain required state pest control licensing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various conditions
- Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent walking, bending, and standing
- Comfortable working in tight or confined spaces when necessary
