Role Description The Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Punta Gorda, FL, responsible for the day-to-day management and overall performance of assigned commercial properties. This role oversees building operations, vendor relationships, and maintenance activities to ensure properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Property Manager monitors budgets, prepares financial reports, and manages rent collections, lease compliance, and tenant improvements in coordination with ownership and internal teams. Daily responsibilities include responding to tenant inquiries, addressing service requests, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations. The role also involves supporting capital projects, enforcing property policies, and contributing to long-term asset value through proactive planning and communication.
Qualifications
- Property operations and tenant relations skills, including experience managing building services, coordinating maintenance, and responding to tenant requests.
- Financial and administrative skills, such as budgeting, expense tracking, lease administration, and report preparation.
- Vendor and contract management abilities, including sourcing vendors, negotiating service agreements, and monitoring performance.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate practices, property management standards, and relevant local codes and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with tenants, owners, vendors, and internal teams.
