POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources intern will support the HR team in a variety of administrative and operational functions. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in key HR areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR systems, compensation, benefits, and compliance, while offering exposure to real-world HR practices in a professional environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides administrative and operational support to the Lifecycle Services and Total Rewards teams
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
- Complete commissioning software data entry and uploads
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries for both the Lifecycle Services and Total Rewards teams, routing when appropriate
- Process written employee personnel changes
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding audits
- Participate in HR Projects and department initiatives, as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality while handling of sensitive employee information and company records
- Provide timely and professional customer service to internal employees
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing an degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
- Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Familiarity with HRIS systems preferred, but not required
