Production Assistant - Lamination

The primary focus of the Production Assistant is to deliver support to the printing and lamination team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Completion of High School education or equivalent
• Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process quality
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and procedures

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspecting products to ensure they meet our quality standards items
• Operate machines, set up, and perform daily cleaning
• Maintain a clean, tidy production environment
• Cross-collaboration with other teams and departments
• Maintain a safe workplace by following safety rules
• Work continuously on identical tasks
• Loading and unloading of printed and non-printed material onto corresponding machines
• Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as required by the department

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout the working shift
• Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously and lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, and overhead reaching
• Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation

POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS

• Full-time in-person/on-site work position: (40 hours/week)
• Location: 66 Bowdoin Street, Burlington, Vermont
• Shift hours: 8.00-4.00 (including 30-minute break)
• Overtime is available upon request

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
