Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining high standards of food safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Handle food items with care, utilizing proper food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Participate in cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and meal preparation processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential for maintaining a safe working environment.
