Stick Boy Kitchen Back of House Line Cook/ Prep - Full Time or Part Time

Position Description:

• Prepare all items served on our menu from scratch.
• Work on a fast paced line creating delicious breakfast and lunch items to order.
• Can be a physically demanding job involving operation of production equipment, sharp knives, and lifting 50lbs.
• Attention to detail and positive attitude are a must.
• Food prep and high-volume kitchen experience of 2 years preferred.

Commitment: This position is PART to FULL Time with the expectation to work minimum 15 hours/week between Monday and Saturday 6:00am-7:00pm.

Pay and Benefits: Starts at $14-16 per hour, with room to grow, overtime after 40 hours per week, accrued paid time off, FREE shift meal, employee discount at Stick Boy and all sister businesses.

Location: Stick Boy Kitchen – 211 Boone Heights Drive, Boone, NC 28607 (our restaurant in the shopping center along with Mint, Be Natural, the bowling alley, etc)

Our business is highly seasonal and often requires all hands on deck for our busiest weeks of the year – holidays! If you are unable to commit to working holiday weeks, Stick Boy may not be the best fit for you. We also experience a “low season” from January – April of every year with less hours available. During this time, we do our best to prioritize hours for those most in need and offer others a well-deserved reprieve.
