Position Overview The JDEIS enterprise needs disciplined content and data management to keep doctrine and education information accurate, accessible, and policy-compliant. The Web/Data Content Manager provides data oversight and content management across JDEIS, including website updates and data-strategy support. The role keeps JDEIS content aligned with agency messaging, accessibility standards, and data governanceEssential Job Function

• Provide data oversight and content and data management for the JDEIS enterprise.
• Update associated websites and track website updates.
• Maintain content in Content Management Systems in compliance with federal standards, including Section 508 accessibility.
• Support data-strategy principles, including data cataloging, metadata management, and data governance alignment.
• Apply SEO practices and interpret website analytics to inform content strategy
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or Associate degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Training and Certification: Certified Web Accessibility Specialist (CWAS); or Google Analytics certification.
• Experience: 3 to 5 or more years managing digital content in federal or defense environments, including CMS platforms; federal and DoD web content policies (Section 508, cybersecurity, OPSEC); data cataloging and metadata management; SEO; website analytics tools; and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Security Clearance: Secret (per Staffing Plan).

• Additional certifications in digital content management, accessibility, or data governance.
• Prior content management for a DoD or federal public website.
