Graphics Specialist

Position Overview Clear visual products help the joint force absorb doctrine quickly. The Graphics Specialist develops and edits graphics and multimedia for electronic and paper publications and maintains the JEDD digital archive. The role gives the Joint Doctrine Development Community publication-ready visuals that meet joint standardsEssential Job Function

• Develop original graphics and edit existing graphics for electronic and paper publications.
• Convert electronic graphic files between formats for publication.
• Maintain digital archives of photographs, vignettes, videos, and quotes.
• Support the joint and Service doctrine development and publishing processes with multimedia products
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Graphic Design, or a related discipline; or no degree with 5 years of experience in the areas below.
• Experience: Demonstrated success in two (2) or more of the following: graphics and multimedia development using software such as CorelDraw and Photoshop CS5; maintaining digital archives (photographs, vignettes, videos, and quotes); and the joint or Service doctrine development and publishing processes.
• Security Clearance: Secret (per Staffing Plan).
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Portfolio of graphics produced for DoD or government publications.
• Experience with current Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
