Job Description:
Position Summary:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide direct care and support to residents in a long-term care environment. CNAs assist residents with personal care, mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities while supporting rehabilitation and maintaining safe resident environments under the supervision of licensed nursing professionals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania CNA Certification required
- Must be registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Health
- Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee OR one (1) year of paid experience in patient/resident care
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents in a long-term care setting
- Assist residents with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and personal care needs
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions
- Support rehabilitative and recreational activities
- Maintain safe and clean patient/resident environments
- Follow nursing instructions and facility procedures
- Work under supervision of licensed nursing professionals
- Participate in required training and orientation programs
Additional Schedule Requirements:
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holidays required
- No Request Time Off (RTO) during the first 4 weeks of orientation
- Strict no cell phone policy during work hours
Work Location: In person
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
